Information session on LIMOSA: April, 23th, 24th, 26th and 30d 2007
Following the DIMONA system, where the employer reports the employment of persons under the local social security, since 1st of April the Belgian government introduced the system LIMOSA.
This system is intended to size up the employment of persons from other countries on the Belgian territory, mostly employed or self-employed persons posted from their EEA-country and not contributing to the Belgian social security. The local employer as well as the foreign employer has to fill their part and to take their responsibility.
Of course, there are exceptions and good-to-know-items in this regulation, applicable from the 1st of April. And this is no joke... because sanctions will be hard, after a running-in period of 6 months.
